I love breakfast as much as the next person, and nothing tops off a good breakfast like exceptional service. During our stay near Issaquah, we discovered the Issaquah Cafe, and it turned out to be a hidden gem we didn't expect. The place was bustling with regulars--always a good sign--but despite the crowd, our wait time was shorter than anticipated. From the moment we were seated, Carrie took incredible care of us. After some time pondering the menu, we settled on the French Toast Griddle Combo, the 1/2 Hobo Scramble, Steak & Eggs, and a Waffle with fresh fruit. Every dish hit the spot, but what really made the experience exceptional was Carrie's intuitive service. Before we could even think to ask, she was there with beverages, condiments, extra napkins--everything we needed, almost as if she could read our minds. With our stomachs full and our spirits high, we left feeling ready for a day of sightseeing. Big thanks to Carrie and the team at Issaquah Cafe for making our breakfast experience so memorable!

We were gearing up for the 4th of July activities so wanted to hit up a breakfast spot near the park we were going to visit. We searched and found Issaquah café near by and decided to check it out to get loaded up for the adventure ahead. The parking lot is massive and this joint is tucked into a plaza of shops. The moment you step in you definitely feel it is the quintessential local diner/café feel. Lots of "wood" features, lots of seating with booths, a counter if you prefer that and just a lot of "local" hustle and bustle. Service was absolutely friendly from start to finish. The menu is broken down by burgers, classics (think chicken strips/clubs), omelettes, BYO egg breakfasts, benedicts, griddles, specialties... and I'll stop there but basically any type of breakfast/brunch/lunch item is certainly on this menu. I ordered the two eggs breakfast and it was all standard good breakfast eats. The general consensus for the myriad of items we ordered were all solid breakfast foods. Friendly service, good eats, and tons of variety. Solid place to check out if you are getting your breakfast game on.

This is easily one of the best brunch spots in Seattle, and now I understand why there's always a long wait--it's absolutely worth it! The convenience of being able to join the waitlist remotely and receive an estimated wait time is fantastic for planning your visit. It's been ages since I've had coffee this fresh at a brunch spot! A great touch is that if you mention you'll be sharing dishes, they'll split the portions for you, which is incredibly thoughtful. The omelet, hash browns, and pancakes were all exceptionally fresh and satisfying. Definitely the top brunch destination, and I'll be coming back for sure!

We joined the waitlist on our way there, which was perfect timing. They had our table ready when we arrived. The hostess and server were professional and attentive. We enjoyed our food. They added the hash browns into the scramble which was a great advice from the server. You can tell everyone around enjoyed their meals as well.

This has been our long-time favorite since they opened! They just did a remodel and it is fresh and new now, yet still the same comfy feel. They are ALWAYS consistent. Reliable so you can count on a great meal. The selection is varied for all diets, so good for smaller groups of diverse eating habits. The staff is fast and efficient, yet polite and social. Definitely add yourself to the waitlist, otherwise you will wait on busy days. One thing, with the water shortage hitting Washington State, in the past they stopped putting water on the tables to save, but after COVID restarted it. It is a WASTE, they need to ONLY bring water when REQUESTED.

I've lived around issaquah since I was in third grade. How is it that I made it to my 40's and just found this gem? Our server was Daniel. 10/10. He was very personal eke and kind!! We had 5 pieces of bacon. Cooked to perfection 10/10 Strawberry rhubarb French toast with whip cream. This was sweet enough you don't even need the syrup but oh so delicious! 10/10 Waffle with fresh berries and whip cream. This was also delicous in its own and didn't need any syrup. They make their own whip cream. It's not just canned reddi whip. So so good. 10/10 I will 100% be back here!
